Paula Coulter wasn’t always in the wedding dress market, but after she found herself severely injured in the I-35W bridge collapse on August 1, 2007, she shifted her mindset. Owning a bridal store was always one of her dreams, so after that tragedy, Paula made it a reality. In 2014, Effie’s Bridal Trunk opened, and has served over 10,000 brides with a store that is elegant, sophisticated, fashionable, and welcoming.
At any one time, there are a thousand dresses for a bride to choose from at Effie’s Bridal Trunk. TO stay true to their mission of relaxed sophistication, they carry a variety of designers within a variety of budgets so any Minnesota bride is sure to find something that works for her in this boutique. Through the one-on-one appointment with their consultant, all options will be considered and they will do all they can to pull only the best of the best for each bride. A few of the collections carried are: Allure, Madison James, Enzoani, Lis Simon, Paloma Blanca, Randy Feloni Bridal, Willoby, WTOO, and Watters. They also carry bridesmaids collections by Allure, Bill Levkoff, and others.
One of the coolest things Effie’s Bridal Trunk offers is the Pink Parlor Room. This becomes the bride’s private parlor for her to have her moment with her tribe. There are wall-to-wall mirrors, a runway, and champagne toasts, which all help make this celebratory moments that much more memorable.
