‘Tis the season to be thankful. This was the thought that was running through my mind as I lugged a far-too-large turkey from the trunk of my car to my freezer. As I whipped that thing by this weird net bag, it was not lost on me that this year, I have so much for which to be thankful.
The top five?
- FREEDOM
It is not lost of me that I am in a lucky position with my leave of absence. Not everyone can take a few years off to think and scheme and dream and know their day job is there for them, just in case. I am so thankful that I have this opportunity.
- TECHNOLOGY
So much of what I have built in entrepreneurship the last ten years has only be possible because of advances in technology. It amazing me how much money people can make from a device that fits in their hand. It is so incredible, and I am forever thankful for it all.
- SUPPORT SYSTEMS
I have struggled with relationships my whole life. Not anything drastic, but trust is a huge thing. Some people keep their cards close to their chest, but I don’t even take a seat at the blackjack table; I keep too much to myself. Last year I met my business coach Amber Housley and joined her Inner Circle, which has introduced me to some of the most amazing women I have ever met. I then attended her in-person event Insired Retreats and befriend several other attendees that I am so happy to have in my life, and I am forever grateful for those relationships.
- PEPPERMINT MOCHAS
I am nothing if I am without a minty coffee. I am just so happy they are a thing and that I can enjoy them frequently this time of year.
- YOU.
All I have ever really wanted to do was write for a real audience. I was never real specific on the medium; I just knew I wanted to do it. I am so thankful that you are here, reading these words, and indulging me in this little thing of mine.
