Frequently Asked Questions

Do you know how to photography anything besides natural light?

Yes! I will always try to harness and use natural light, but I can use flash if need be. I come to every event with three Nikon flashes and the ability to light up your world (or at least your reception).

How would you describe your photography style?

I am primarily a digital photographer, but shoot film as well. I believe both mediums serve their purpose, incorporate both when appropriate for your love story. I edit for light, airy images that are as authentic as they are romantic.

How long does it take before we see any of our images?

After your wedding, expect to see images on social media within 48 hours, a blog by the end of the week. Your gallery will be delivered within four to six weeks.

How do you address and handle posing your couples?

I use gentle gesturing to "pose" you, which creates opportunities for your natural movements and interactions to be front and center, so only the authentic you shines through! A little candid, a little posed, and all you in your gallery!

We love it all and we are ready to book! What do we do next?

This makes my day! The first step to is to inquire and receive the Kayla Lee Photography Wedding Experience Guide, which will explain the package options as well as the a la carte items (and the little goodies available, just for you)!

What's your for paying the retainer to save our date?

The retainer is $1000 for weddings and 1/3 down for elopement packages less than $2000; remaining balances are due one month before your event. The invoice will be accessible through HoneyBook (it's like PayPal for creatives).

What is the best way for me to get in touch with you?

The best way to reach me is always through email at I generally respond to all emails within 24 hours.
