When Josh “JJ” Johnson was four, his parents made him take piano lessons. This choice was much to his chagrin at the time. That pressured move, however, would turn into a lifetime of love for music that now has Josh front and center of the wedding entertainment industry with his DJ/MC business, Soulfulsounder.
Located in central Minnesota, Soulfulsounder serves brides and grooms all over the area. From Minneapolis to St. Cloud, Albany to Glenwood, Josh is more than happy to literally take his show on the road to serve his clients (and serve them well). He offers a variety of packages for both parties and weddings, as he just wants to “to make your party pop off with soul.”
How does he do that? With his personality! Josh is a born entertainer, and that shows through his interactions with his clients. He doesn’t hide behind a bunch of lights and equipment. He is completely visible during his time, helping to not only get the party started, but to keep it going once it has begun. He feeds the fire of a good time by being an active part of it. For example, one couple had a Wheel of Fortune alternative to the clinking of the glasses, and Josh was right there to show the guests how it went:
Another way Soulfulsounder adds to the ambiance of any celebration is through the additional service any client can add: The Photo Booth. Any party or reception can create their own selfie station with this a la carte add on. Let the DJ bring the props and the printer; you and your guests just need to bring the smiles and the laughter.
