KLP Design Co. It’s a thing now. I can’t believe it…but I am so excited for it. Launching today was the main goal for July, and I am happy to say we’ve made it happen.
I love design. I always have. If I wasn’t here, writing these words for you, I had hoped that I would have been working in print journalism as a layout editor. I get a little warm and fuzzy just thinking about that job. Margins and bleeds and trim lines, oh my!
To scratch that journalistic design itch, I have long designed stationery for clients. Wedding invitation suites, graduation and birth announcements, even photo thank you cards have been created complimentary for my brides, grooms, seniors, and families. I love it, as it keeps my design juices flowing, but those juices had no where to go once squeezed. As a place for them to drip, I present something new: The KLP Design Company.
The KLP Design Co. was a thought thunked while on vacation last year, but finally brought to life through quarantine. It is a design studio specializing in Photoshop templates for photo greeting cards. Consider it semi-homemade, as I have done the bulk of the design work, but you have the freedom to do subtle tweaks and changes to make each design your own. When you send a card, it should reflect your personality, and I saw a huge void in the market for clean, smart, elevated design at an achievable price. I wanted to provide my clients the opportunity to get a boutique design that isn’t like everyone else’s at a fair price.
To make this happen, I have headed back to my entrepreneurial roots on Etsy, and created a little storefront in that space for these designs. Right now, they are primarily holiday themed, but that will change, evolve, and expand as I continue to add new pieces. I can’t wait to add full invitation suites, signage, all the good things. More things will be on the way, I promise!
So, if you like clean design with a good amount of white space and limited busyness, check our The KLP Design Co. today on Etsy! IF you see something you like, pick it up for 10% off by using the code JULYJOY10 at checkout!
