Sure, plans change. Many of us have gone through that this spring. But four times?
That was the world of Breanna and Craig as they patiently waited for their day to say “I do.” Their wedding was originally planned for March 28, 2020, a date that mattered most to them as it was their nine year dating anniversary. But, sadly, that date came to pass without an exchange of vows.
That was OK, though. April 18 would be their date. But then that one was out of the running as well.
May 30…nope.
We all waited with bated breath about June 20, 2020. Would that be their date? Would we get to celebrate? Would we finally get to wish Mr. + Mrs. Roering well?
It turns out fourth time was a charm.
That first Saturday morning of summer was The Day. It was the day that Bre actually got to wear her beautiful ballgown and her bride tribe was able to wear their dark purple dresses. Friends and family could finally file into the historic Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany for their ceremony mass, and were able to bear witness to their vows. Well-wishers could celebrate with them at the Pelican Lake Ballroom, enjoy their famous fried chicken dinner, devour a cupcake, and then dance the night away.
It wasn’t the plan, but it was perfect.
I am so happy to finally get write this blog and say CONGRATULATIONS, Mr. + Mrs. Roering!! I wish you nothing but all the love and joy that comes with finally being MARRIED!
