Bluefin Bay is located along the rocky, iconic shores of Lake Superior. It calls Tofte, Minnesota, home, and serves as a refuge for anyone looking to make a break north. Behind the hillside guesthouses, one will find Tofte Cove, a little inlet where guests and tuck away down near the lake to watch the sunset and rise, or just listen to the lake kiss the shore.

The options aren’t just the one resort; Bluefin is actually a part of a trifecta of resorts that also include Surfside on Lake Superior and Temperance Landing. Between the three properties, there are four different rooms in which to hold a reception, and they are prepared to help any bride and groom create the outdoor space of their North Shore wedding dreams. They also break up their pricing into seasons, allowing any would-be guest to invest what is appropriate. Their catering menu also offers variety to make sure every couple can offer a delicious meal at the price that works for thee budget they have set for their big day. 

A great aspect to any Bluefin Bay wedding is the proximity of the properties to other awesome, must-see attractions while north. There is Temperance River State Park two miles down the road. Grand Marais, Minnesota, is only a half hour cruise north where one can nosh on gourmet eating options (such as at Hungry Hippy Taco).  Split Rock Lighthouse is 35 miles away. Lutsen and their gondola is nearby. This is all without mentioning the activities and programming that Bluefin themselves put out there; guests of the property can take kayak lessons or hop on for winery tours, just to name a couple options. There will be more than enough for any wedding guest to do while in town for the wedding.
