Maddy is hands-down one of the most lively, enduring, and sweet young ladies, ever. From the minute she bounced out of her car, beyond excited for her senior session, to the minute she smiled for one last shutter, is was very clear that Miss Maddy lives for each day, and loves every moment of life (I mean, she decided this year to cheer, just because she hadn’t…how cool is that?)
The fact that she is willing to try something new just because it is the last opportunity to do so speaks a ton about the character of this young lady. Maddy’s dedication to that what is important to her is a trait that will no doubt serve her as she moves forward from high school to beyond (which will be a treat for Maddy, as her optimism and positive outlook will make every new adventure a fun and exciting trip…if she has half as much fun as she did playing in the weeds and reeds of the Mississippi River, life is going to be quite the ride for this member of the Class of 2018).
But as joyful and outgoing Maddy is, she is also as sentimental. She asked if it was OK that she brought a couple props with her: One was her kindergarten photo, and the other was firefighting gear that was her dad’s, who sadly passed years prior to this major moment in Maddy’s life, but would no doubt be proud of the amazing young woman his daughter had (and will continue to) become.
Here is Maddy, Class of 2018…
