find me elsewhere:

Hi there! Welcome to the KLP Blog, a journal about all the things that I love about life. Stay a while and say hello!

Hi, I'm kayla.

It happens at least once a holiday season: You forgot someone OR someone didn’t forget you. It is now post-holiday, but yet you still need to get something for that someone. What are you to do?

You are (1) not to fret, and (2) rely on an easy peasy photo gift. I know you have a phone full of images, so this should not be a problem–and even more importantly, it can solve this unexpected-yet-not-unknown holiday problem.

What are my favorite last-minute photo gifts?

  1. CALENDARS: You know I love to gift a calendar, even if it isn’t last-minute. What I love about giving calendars, though, is that it isn’t really a last-minute or late gift until February, so it kind of buys you a little time. Also, to quote Cousin Eddie, it is the gift that keeps on giving all year, as it can be a daily reminder to them of how much they mean to you (it will be so impactful, they won’t even remember the tardiness of the thought). My favorite calendars come from Nations Photo Lab!
  2. LUGGAGE TAGS: Shutterfly offers the cutest luggage tags at a great price, which I think makes them perfect for a last minute photo gift. Know someone who is taking off after the holidays? Surprise them with this little memento that will no doubt bring to mind a few warm fuzzies of you every time they depart.
  3. MUGS: Who doesn’t love a mug? Technology today makes it so darn easy to make and create a custom photo mug, so it is a really great gift option. Etsy has so many creators with so many different styles, there is definitely something for everyone.

Even though December 26 tends to mean the end of the season, I like to think of the holidays more as a state of mind; as long as someone is on your mind, there is always time for the perfect present, as love and kindness knows no calendar.

What is your favorite photo gift?
