As most good things go, it started over a beer and a bond with pierogis.
This shared family tradition was one of the many things these two college sweethearts have in common that turned a first few early dates in Milwaukee into a few more. And then even more. Dates moved into travel and a joint love of exploration and adventure. This resulted in an engagement on Cloud Nine (literally, the Cloud Nine ski run in Vail).
Form those mountaintops came a wonderful fall Mayowood Stone Barn wedding this past weekend where these two said their “I do”s in front of their closest friends and family (and of course with their fur baby, Ava the Shepherd there to celebrate as well).
Underneath the enormous oak tree, Keri and JJ promised to continue to grow as couple. So often oak tress are seen as a symbols of strength and endurance, so it was a perfectly symbolic spot for these two. Individually, they are incredibly driven and dedicated to to their personal goals and their mission of service; as medical practitioners in their respective fields, their dedication to their achievements has come at the great benefit of those they serve. Together, there won’t be anything that can stop these two as they continue to grow now as spouses.
Not even Border Battle Weekend, which was coincidentally Wedding Weekend. Thank goodness for that beer and those pierogis…
Congratulations again, Keri + JJ! Thank you so much for letting me celebrate with you at your Mayowood Stone Barn Wedding!
