Can you believe it is already the last Friday of March? How bizarre. I feel like the first quarter of 2022 just flew by, which makes me excited for the next three!
I loved March, and that was for several reasons…
- SPRING
There is a new, bright, fresh layer of snow on the ground as I type this, but spring was still here for a couple of days (and I believe it will be back again…even though you never know when in Minnesota). I like spring and fall, so it was good to get back to life as I like it: Coffee on the deck, walks with the dog, and more light at night. These are the good things.
- THE RETURN OF WEDDING SEASON
It all started with Claire and David way back on March 4. With that super-sweet Lutsen Elopement, my 2022 wedding season started, and I now have a wedding every month the rest of the year. I will seeing lots of new venues all across the state–and even have my first legitimate destination wedding in April. I am so excited to see all the promises this season has.
- NEW PRODUCTS FOR KLP DESIGN CO.
I swear someday I will take all the talk of my design shop to its own blog, but for now, you get to hear about it here. I have a whole new slew of items coming that I spent the better part of this month designing. I can’t wait to get them onto the site once they arrive.
- NEW CONNECTIONS
I found a new and wonderful new group with Wedding Pro Insiders–it’s a mastermind that consists of wedding professionals–so planners, designers, photographers, etc.–and we all come together to grow together. It’s nice because it isn’t just photographers and it isn’t just business: It is wedding business. I love it, and I can’t wait to see where I am one year from now.
- TRAVEL TIME!
I haven’t left yet, but March brings to me my first trip in like three years. Yes, I went to Nashville last year, but that wasn’t a trip as it was mostly for work (I mean, it was super-fun work, but it didn’t have the flexibility I like when I go on vacation). I am excited to have some down time while still getting a few things done. Stay tuned on IG to see all the goodness!
