February already?! As I might have said last week, January was a good month. I thought it went by fast, and I feel I was mostly productive. It makes me that much more excited for February. This means it is time to look at my February Goals.
What do I have going on this month? Well….
- RELAUNCH MY LISTS
If you’ve been a friend of mine for any length of time, you know that I have a love-hate relationship with email marketing. It just takes sooooooo much work and content–and it’s not that I don’t love work and content (I do). It’s just a lot of work for an unknown reward (I am sometimes too efficient for my own good, so even though I hustle hard, I overthink harder). I am relaunching my KLP Love Notes AND sending the first-ever message to KLP VIPS over at KLP Design Co., so if you want to have s little optimism delivered to your inbox, it’s not too late to sign up…)
- BINGING THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL
The new season of Amazon Prime’s amazing comedy comes out on February 18th. They are so kind and release all episodes on the same day, so it helps me determine my plans that Friday.
- FINISH MY BOOK’S FIRST DRAFT.
Yes, I am writing a book. No, it is not fiction. It is not about the Middle East, a surprise to those closest to me (you can always read what I have already written about that topic here). I am writing about the two things I know most about: Craft and Communication. I am hoping for a Q4 release, so keep staying tuned.
- FOR REAL, VISIT A MN HISTORICAL SITE
This goal went a little sideways last month…meaning I didn’t do it. Some things came up
(AKA Minnesota Winter + COVID restriction), so we’re postponing that. Another snafu,
though: Most sites don’t fully reopen until May/June, so we’ll see how this goes.
- COOK MORE AT HOME
I truly love cooking, but I don’t do it as much as I used to. I don’t know; it’s weird. Since I’ve gone full time in photography, I don’t have as much time for all the fun things. I am going to make it a priority to make a little more margin in my life for these little things that matter (like Egg Roll in a Bowl).
