When I taught Honors English, every other year I would have my class participate in NaNoWriMo–National Novel Writing Month. Yes, biannually, 35 ninth-graders would write somewhere between 10,000 to 12,500 words in the form of a novel, and one of them even had their self-published. It was about more than just making students write; it was about showing them that little by little, everything adds up to something great.
Not unlike NaNoWriMo is your wedding planning. You are spending anywhere from six months to two years planning this day, and you will see first-hand how all the little things add up to something big. That something big, your next chapter, deserves to take up more than memory on a server. These are the three reasons why KLP couples love their wedding photo albums:

Sometimes its chronological, other times it is to tell a specific story. Either way, a well crafted album will align your photos in the most magical (and beautiful) way possible.
- IT IS AN ACTUAL, PHYSICAL, TANGIBLE HEIRLOOM
One of my favorite memories from my childhood was completing an eighth grade family history project. My grandma (who never was a very touchy-feeling kind of gal) was so proud and willing to pull out the albums that contained the wedding photos of the generations past. SHe didn’t hold out an iPhone or go to the cloud; she set a beautiful vintage book on a table and, with me right next to her, flipped through the pages and introduced me to aunts, uncles, and cousins I otherwise never would have met.
Your wedding memories are the genesis of your story. Somewhere down the line, someone–a child, grandchild, friend, whoever–is going to ask about your wedding. Your legacy deserves better than being megapixels on a mini screen.
