This week’s vendor isn’t really a wedding vendor at all. However, they can provide an amazing service on your wedding day for the couples who are a little DIY, but are short on time.
Creative Market exists to help people “find the perfect creative asset to bring your project to life.” They sell all sorts of design odds and ends: Fonts, clip art, photos, etc. Anything anyone could need to finish their project is easily found here. But they also sell completely created templates from small or independent designers (think Etsy for digital creatives).
A quick search for “wedding invitations” under the category of “Template” yielded almost 9,000 results. Scrolling through those results, it is clear there is variety of styles available. There are some with geometric shapes, a few with blush watercolor, one that even looks like a passport. They are covered by all the adjectives: Simple, elegant, quirky, retro, fun.
But, most importantly, they are unique. This is not a mainstream site like Minted or Vista Print; this is kind of off the beaten path of the information superhighway, which means you are more likely to find something new and unseen and perfect for your big day. The reason why they are unique? They are created by independent designers, each with a unique flair…the same unique of your big day.
There are two things to note, though:
1.) You will most likely need to download a trial of Adobe Creative Cloud to make the edits (not a big deal, you can find that here).
2.) You will need to get these printed on your own (also not a big deal: There are lots of options online and in person. I recommend SpinnPrint, as they are quick and economical…but Vista Print works, too).
