Recently, I signed up for Discovery+, the streaming service that allows users to access all channels in the Discover television family. I signed up for the vintage TLC so I can binge on all the classics I consumed during college and my early years of my career (you know, back in the day when you could still learn something on The LEARNING Channel). We’re talking Trading Spaces, What Not To Wear, and my beloved Four Weddings.
The premise of Four Weddings, if you are unfamiliar, is simple: Four brides attend each others’ weddings and rank them in the hopes of winning a honeymoon. It could easily be titled Passive Aggressive Betch Fest, and I enjoy it so very much. I have been binging episodes from their ten seasons on-and-off for the last week, and the episode that is currently on, the guest brides are besides themselves. They were appalled. One bride, Jamie, had her dog in her ceremony. HER DOG, of all things.
Oh, how the times have changed. And I’m here for it.
This is hands down one of my favorite trends in weddings these days; I love your dog, and I love it when they are a part of an engagement session and/or big day. Our pets are such important parts of our lives, and I am a hard believer that fur is indeed family. If your second cousin twice removed’s spouse is there, there’s no real reason why your four-legged friends cannot make an appearance as well (especially with how adorable they can be all dolled up).
Many a KLP Couple has included their pets in their celebrations, and here are just a few of those furry, fuzzy, loving moments…

PS: The Dog Bride won the honeymoon. She knew the score before the game even started.
