The name “Show Me Your Mumu” doesn’t instantly conjure up images of adorable dresses that are fashionable. I will be honest: When I first heard of it, I assumed it was clothing for a different generation. I expected something ill-fitting and floral.
Just like we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, we probably shouldn’t determine a company just by its name. While there are florals as I suspected, the designs of this young and fresh company are far from being a fashion disaster. They are classic and clean, and perfect for a modern wedding party.
Show Me Your Mumu sells more than just bridesmaid dresses, but their selection of weddingwear is stellar on its own right.
With close to 45 colors, 15 patterns, and like 30 different styles, every wedding can wear a Mumu. All the lengths are addressed (mini, midi, high-low, and maxi), as are all neckline options (v-neck, high neck, sweetheart, cowl, off the shoulder, halter, square, and one shoulder). Sizes range from XXS to 3X, and they offer different length options as well. If you can dream it, Mumu Weddings probably has it.
They also provide a little menswear as well. Neck ties, bowties, and pocket squares can also be ordered from this vendor, insuring a perfect match with the bridesmaid dresses. Many of their iconic colors and patterns are available to create dapper dudes.
What I personally love about Show Me Your Mumu for weddings is that, if you play your cards right, no two weddings will be the same. A bride and groom can completely creatively customize their parties in a way that cannot be done with another vendor. For example, I have seen it where the maid of honor wore a pattern, one set of bridesmaid wore a coordinating color, and yet another set wore a third shade. All the same color but different necklines, all the same necklines but different hues…the possibilities are endless!
