You know why I love being a part of the wedding industry? Because it is a service industry, which means that rather than trading cash for a commodity, I get to serve my couples from inquiry to anniversary (and beyond). I love it. Love love love it.

1. You like to venture off onto your own path. I am all about finding our own corners of the world, the one that truly makes us feel like home. I adore shooting weddings in these sacred places. For me, that is a little palazzo in Yafo, Israel, where I can get a scoop (or three) of gelato to eat while I watch the blue waters of Mediterranean Sea wash against the walls of the port. I will get married there, no doubt. I love (LOVE) being able to you in the place your heart is fullest. No place is too far, no mode of transportation too “weird.” Seriously. I have traveled by foot, car, boat, gondola, even horse. I have been into the middle of the woods, the center of the city, and to the border and back. I am up for your love’s adventure.

2. You are a freedom-loving control freak. We talk about the list-making, always early, somewhat high strung Type A and we all know someone who is a go-with-the-flow, master of organized chaos Type B. But what about those of us who are really a combination of the two, and could really be a Type C? My method of posing is perfect for those of us who find themselves a sort of personality Goldilocks, meaning that we do a few set up shots, capture those candids, and record the memories that happen in between.

3. You know love is about the little things, and you have incorporated all of them into your big day. Deep down I am at least seven different kinds of nerd, but the two top are history nerd and word nerd. The later two give me a major appreciation to the finer details of stories, and I love those little things that make the whole image come together into view. All of the elements you bring into your wedding–from the ring to the flowers to the centerpieces to moves of the first dance–all tell your story, and each one has a special role in creating the perfect picture of your day. I love details, and as your wedding photographer I will be sure to love yours a little extra.
