Sometimes in the middle of sessions, I find myself just grinning because of the client I have before me. Be it their smile or their personality, their funny comments, their natural sense of humor…even though it is my job to make them beam in front of the camera, it is often me that is just beaming away behind my lens.
Bryce had me on absolute fire as we went through his senior session. A quick-witted, good-natured, politely sarcastic young man is what I encountered with Bryce. From the minute he met his mom and me to the very last photo, he was in the highest of mood, even if having his senior photos taken was the last thing he wanted done.
Bryce is the hardworking, positive, considerate kind. Through our discussions during the sessions, it became clear that he was one of the hardest working young adults I had met—he came to his session right from work, with a little of the sap still on his hands from the pine bows he had begun to work into wreaths. It also became very clear that Bryce didn’t let much adversity get in his way; when he has his vision, he follows that through until the end is what he expected. And even if things aren’t the way he expected, he goes with the flow, making the most out of each situation (such as messy haired poses, which were not a fan favorite of Bryce’s, but he still went right along with it).
This is Bryce, Class of 2017…
