I am sure we have all played that game “Never have I ever…” Akin to Truth and Dare, it is meant to uncover the most scandalous, salacious, juicy tidbits that we bury deep inside. 

While I am neither exceptionally scandalous nor juicy, there are some things I have never, ever done that might surprise you, such as the fact that I have never ever…

1.)…BEEN TO A NON-TWINS GAME.

No Vikings, no Timberwolves, no Loons. I haven’t even ever been to a Duluth Huskies game. I have been to fistfuls of Twins games, but I have never been to any other professional or sports game or match. Someday I would like to see the Vikings play in person someday, but as of right now, it’s just the Twinkies.

2.)…SWAM IN THE OCEAN.

I floated in the Dead Sea and splashed around the Mighty Mediterranean several times, but I have never been to the Atlantic or Pacific. I have never been to the west coast, and my trips to the east coast stopped short of the ocean. 

3.)…BEEN TO CANADA OR MEXICO.

I have been close, but never over either border. I have family in Quebec, so I am hoping to get there sometime with my dad. But as of right now, nope. 

4.)…PERFORMED IN PUBLIC.

While I have spoken in public, I don’t consider that the same as having performed. I don’t even think I have ever done karaoke. One of my personal ambitions is to someday be a part of community theatre. Sing, dance, the whole kit and caboodle. Someday, maybe, but not as of right now.

5.)…SEEN AN EPISODE OF GREY’S ANATOMY.

It’s true. I have never seen one episode of this show. When it first started sixteen years ago, “House” was my doctor show of choice. Now, I feel too much has passed and I am sure too much has happened for me to just pick it up. Sure, I could probably binge it, but how would I watch seasons one and two of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” for the fifth time?
