“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” Corinthians 13:7-13.
A first look was not planned. Parents and family asked if they wanted to, but the two of them declined. They anticipated seeing each other before the ceremony, but neither wanted to make a big fuss about it. But when Lexie came around the corner, the emotions still got the best of both of them, and they welcomed the enduring moment. A sign that some of the best things in life are unplanned, and that simply means that it was meant to be.
Southern sweet Lexie was meant to head north to find Minnesota nice Alex. Their paths were meant to cross, and they were meant to fall in love. They were meant to have an early May wedding at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Bellechester, Minnesota. They were meant to start their lives together on that sunny Saturday.
A collection of Lexie and Alex’s closest friends and family celebrated with them as they were united in holy matrimony. Gentle touches, sentimental glances, and a tear or two filled the sanctuary as these two promised one another their love for life.
Congratulations, Lexie + Alex! I wish you nothing but a lifetime of love and joy!!
