You will have no idea where to go if you don’t know how much gas it will take to get there. While wedding planning, your funds will be your fuel, so it is important to settle on how much money you have to allocate. Always start there.
2. DETERMINE WHAT YOU VALUE
Do you want amazing photographs, or do you want a DJ that will throw a raging party? Do you absolutely have to get married at that one venue, or are you open to other locales? Since you already have your budget, knowing what will take a bigger chunk of that will make the choices that follow that much easier. 3. PICK YOUR DATE
Believe it or not, the previous point might help you here without even knowing it. There are two schools of thought when choosing a date. Some will pick a date based on sentimentality (a dating anniversary, for example); others make this call based on the availability of the value chosen in my second point. Explore both options and see what one fits best with your budget, vision, and heart.
