As John Lennon says, “Life is what happens while you are making other plans.”
This is the truth of Noah Penn. Like a lot of students, he found himself enrolled in an undergraduate program, not certain as to what he wanted to be when he grew up. As he studied Communications at the University of Minnesota Duluth, he picked up his camera and began to play around. It was in that very moment that 218Visuals was born.

218Visuals provides what Noah calls “fairly simple and very personal” videography to couples all across the midwest. He believes that “sometimes the simplest videos are the most meaningful, when done with care,” which is how he has developed his style. In a true photojournalistic fashion, Noah comes to a wedding with minimalist gear that gets the big job done: With his creative eye and calm demeanor, he “the moments speak for themselves.” His goal? To make a cinematic memory that allows for the viewer to be brought right back to then and there.

Noah values true emotions over trends, which can be seen in any of his highlights on his Instagram feed. He is also a continuously evolving creative; in-between his super-busy wedding season, he has gotten himself on Spotify with his own music (it’s really, REALLY good). If you are looking for a videographer who does a great job while being so personal and easy to connect to, Noah’s your (camera)man.
